“Sub Rosa” is Dominio’s first compilation album since the beginning of its publishing activity as an independent label at the beginning of this year. It features contributions from a list of both old and new friends of the collective which have performed at some of the different concerts that they have organised over the last two years. “Sub Rosa” is a reflection of Dominio’s strong commitment with their local scene as much as their search for a wider projection through international connections. Ultimately, their goal is to stimulate a dialogue between their particular context and the rest of the world. The presence in this album of a high number of collaborative pieces is, too, a crystallisation of this dialogue. Most of these collaborations were created by correspondence during the 2020 March-August period, and shall provide a sample of the constant appearance, evolution and reshaping of projects around the collective.
The figures displayed in the album cover are the work of the Valencia-based sculptor Claudia Dyboski.

“Sub Rosa” es el primer recopilatorio de Dominio desde que comenzaron sus actividades editoriales como sello independiente a principios de este año. Los artistas que forman parte de este álbum son viejos y nuevos amigos del colectivo que han actuado en los diversos conciertos que durante los dos últimos años han venido organizando. “Sub Rosa” refleja equitativamente el compromiso de Dominio con la escena local y su búsqueda de una conexión con proyección internacional; en definitiva, crear un diálogo entre su contexto particular y el mundo. Diálogo que queda reflejado, además, en las numerosas piezas colaborativas que componen el recopilatorio, creadas a distancia entre el periodo de marzo y agosto de 2020, que presentan una muestra de la constante aparición, evolución y reconfiguración de proyectos en torno al colectivo.
Las piezas que aparecen en la portada digital del álbum son obra de la escultora afincada en Valencia Claudia Dyboski.
